As a Global Admin, Building Admin, or Team Manager you can create bookings on behalf of others or for yourself.

Prerequisites:
- You must be at least an admin or team manager in Kadence
Web App
Book on behalf of others easily by following our straightforward booking flow detailed below:
- From the “Bookings” tab, click “New booking” in the top right-hand corner and a new page will appear
- In the “Where?” section you can choose whether you need a desk or onsite booking. You can then select a building, and for desk bookings you will need to select a floor. The building and floor fields will be pre populated with your preferred building and floor. To set your preferred workspace, see: workspace preferences
- For desk bookings you may also see the “Amenities” section, which allows you to filter spaces based on their available amenities, i.e., monitors, chairs, phones, etc.
- The “When?” section allows you to decide the date and time of your booking. The all-day booking toggle is by default set to ‘on’, however, you can click on the toggle to turn it off and select a specific time-frame.
- If you would like to make a recurring booking simply toggle on “Repeat booking”. Here you can select the day(s) of the week you would like to repeat your booking for, as well as, how far in the future you want to keep the booking for
- The “Who?” section will be pre-populated with your own name. Click on the (X) to remove your name from the booking, and enter in the name of the person you are booking for.
- Continue on the regular booking flow to create the booking. Once you have confirmed the booking, the employee you have booked for will receive a booking confirmation email and/or push notification.
Mobile
Making a booking is easy on the Kadence mobile app. You can make new bookings via the home page (book a space) or the bookings tab (tap the “+” icon in the upper right-hand corner).
The booking flow is described below:
- The “Who?” section will be pre-populated with your own name. Tap on your name to select the employee you want to book for
- In the “Where?” section you can choose whether you need a desk or onsite booking. You can then select a building, and for desk bookings you will need to select a floor. The building and floor fields will be pre populated with your preferred building and floor. To set your preferred workspace, see: workspace preferences
- For desk bookings you may also see the “Amenities” section, which allows you to filter spaces based on their available amenities, i.e., monitors, chairs, phones, etc.
- The “When?” section is where you can select the date and time of your booking. The all-day toggle is defaulted to on. If the auto-release feature is enabled, then you may prefer adjusting the booking time for when you are planning to be in the office
- You can also set up recurring bookings in this section by tapping on “Repeat” and selecting the days of the week you want this booking to be repeated on and how long for
- Continue on the regular booking flow to create the booking. Once you have confirmed the booking, the employee you have booked for will receive a booking confirmation email and/or push notification
