We allow you to export CSV files in Kadence for your employee directory and your booking data. This can be a good way to pull large amounts of information into an easily readable format, and can be a great way to plan for future bookings as well.

Prerequisites:
- You must be at least a building admin to be able to export booking data
- You must be a global admin to export employee data
- You must be using the Kadence web app
Exporting the employee directory
To export your employee directory as a CSV, follow these steps:
- Go to the “Directory” tab
- You can change the number of employees visible at a time by clicking on “X per page” in the lower right-hand corner. The number of employees you can view at a time are:
- 30
- 50
- 100
- 200
- Export the data by clicking on the export page icon next to the filter icon.
- A CSV file will be sent to your email address shortly after
The employee directory CSV file contains information such as:
- First name
- Last name
- Profile picture
- Preferred floor name
- Preferred building name
- Vaccination certification status. See: workplace safety to find out more about certification status
Exporting booking data
To export your booking data as a CSV, follow these steps:
- Go to the “Bookings” tab
- You can change the number of bookings visible at a time by clicking on “X per page” in the lower right-hand corner. The number of bookings you can view at a time are:
- 30
- 50
- 100
- 200
- Select either “Upcoming” or “Past” bookings
- Filter these bookings to your liking by clicking on the filters icon. Here you can filter by teams, buildings, floors, neighborhoods, and booking status. Once you are happy with your filters click “Apply” in the lower right-hand corner
- You can further filter these bookings by date by clicking on the calendar icon, you can filter future dates in the “Upcoming” bookings tab, or filter past dates in the “Past” bookings tab.
- To enable cancelled bookings, click on the toggle next to “Show cancelled”. This will allow you to easily switch between cancelled and non-cancelled bookings.
- Once you are satisfied with your selections, click on the export page icon next to the filter icon
- A CSV file will be sent to your email address shortly after. The CSV file will contain more fields than is visible on the web, some useful columns to look for are self-certified, check-in time, cancellation time, and booking status to see if users are checking in, didn’t show, or letting their desks auto-release.
The booking data CSV file contains information such as:
- First name
- Last name
- Space name
- Space type
- Building name
- Building city
- Building country
- Floor name
- Neighborhood name
- Booking start date
- Booking end date
- Booking created date
- Booking cancelled date
- Self-certification date
- Check in date
- Check out date
- Booking status
